The short story of Poisson Bulle

The idea of creating Poisson Bulle came when my son Nino had 18 months old, and when I wanted to change the decoration of his bedroom which was then too 'childish' to my taste.

I then tried to find an easy and beautiful, and of course affordable, decoration, and it was a problem! I could find lovely objects but too expensive or easy and cheap enough, but not that attractive on an aesthetic point of view.

Very fond of juvenile literature, I then thought about the great drawings of children books and th idea was there : creating decoration products, as stickers, with the assistance of illustrators, in order to get an affordable, practical and aesthetic solution that could suit all mums, living in the big cities or villages through an online shop.   

Why Poisson Bulle?

Poisson Bulle, my bedroom, my bubble. This slogan summarizes our motivation and the message of our products : Create your own world and playground, your dream 'bubble' in your child bedroom, where everything is always possible.

That's why we propose you different poetic and play themes: vintage toys, fairies and elves' gardens, japanese dolls, forests with blue trees and many other things...

Who draws products for Poisson Bulle ?

The illustrators who work with us all have something in common, they are talentuous!

Some of them, as Annelore Parot, Laurence Jammes or Isabelle Chauvet, have a double experience in textile design and illustration dedicated to children, and they always mix with happiness these two worlds.... Others, as Marion Piffaretti or Blanca Gomez, our Spanish illustrators, mix graphics and retro inspiration.... Abigail Brown, the most English of our illustrators, proposes a typical mix of colors, textiles and materials with a lot of refinement.

Who makes products for Poisson Bulle?

Our products are all made in France.

Poisson Bulle wants to make the mums' life easier, that's why all stickers are:

- With a washable surface to simply erase pencil strokes to wipe over with a sponge
